Articles
These standalone articles examine how organizations move AI from principle and pilot into operations.
They cover operationalizing responsible AI as a connected system, the risks in MCP server connections and the credentials and authority given to agents, and the shift from pilots to an agentic enterprise where work, governance, data, and accountability have to absorb AI. They also include a weekly analysis of AI developments for business, technology, and leadership decisions, and a ranking of frontier models that places Grok ahead.

AI Risk Management Is a System, Not a Checklist
Most organizations aren’t struggling to define responsible AI principles. They’re struggling to operationalize them. The challenge isn’t identifying the right principles. It’s understanding the actions those principles demand and how those actions connect into a coherent approach.

A weekly analysis of AI developments and their impact on business, technology, and leadership decisions.
This week’s AI developments point to a clear maturation of the market. The conversation is shifting from experimentation with individual models to the practical realities of deployment, governance, integration, infrastructure, and measurable business value. Frontier models, open-weight alternatives, AI agents, connectivity standards, and regulatory requirements are all advancing at the same time, creating new opportunities for organizations that can align AI capabilities with business outcomes, risk tolerance, and operational readiness.

Understanding MCP Server Risks
The defining risk in agentic AI is not the model itself. It is the trusted connections, credentials, data access, and business authority we give it.

Why Grok is winning the Frontier Model war.
Most people probably don’t agree with the statement that Grok is winning the Frontier Model war, but most people haven’t used Grok extensively. In this article I will explain my approach to ranking the Frontier Models and why I think Grok 4.5 is the best, and I don’t think it is very close.

From Pilots to an Agentic Enterprise
Enterprise AI has entered a new phase. The question for executives is no longer whether models are capable enough to generate value. It is whether the enterprise can redesign work, governance, data, and accountability fast enough to absorb AI into core operations. Across the source set, the same pattern appears repeatedly: organizations can launch pilots, but they struggle to industrialize them. Deloitte argues that scaling AI is now an operating model challenge rather than a technology challenge. McKinsey reaches a parallel conclusion, describing the rise of the agentic organization as the next enterprise paradigm. BCG adds that strategy and workflow redesign matter more than tool access, especially when organizations want durable value instead of short-lived productivity wins.
